Midwest Krav Maga is dedicated to teaching realistic self-defense and character development to youth ages 3-17. Our passion and mission is to develop today's youth into tomorrow's leaders and empower each and every student through Martial Arts.
Our classes are divided into specific age groups to target the milestones associated with your child's developmental stage.
We offer a Tiny Warriors Program. This class has the 3 & 4 year old in mind. We concentrate on fundamental social and gross motor skills in order to develop their focus, teamwork, discipline, and coordination. We do this through martial arts exercises, combative techniques, fun drills, and games. Each class is designed to stress focus, discipline and teamwork. The goal of this class is to help students excel in their development and begin to establish and build self-confidence in their abilities.
Our next age group is our Little Warriors Program which is specific to kids ages 5-7. Students start with learning eight different skills (focus, teamwork, control, balance, memory, discipline, fitness, and coordination). Each skill is stressed through Martial Art techniques and various activities and games. The goal of this program is to prepare students for the Young Warriors class and for students to master skills that will not only help them in martial arts, but will help them in their journey to becoming tomorrow's leaders.
Young Warriors is a unique program designed specifically for students ages 8-12. The Young Warriors Krav Maga program is the premier children's program for Self-Defense, Fitness, and Character Development. We emphasis focus, discipline, goal setting, and self-confidence through the development of personal safety. Every class includes a 'mat chat' which helps weave our character development program into their martial arts training.
